Playing Outside

I decided to refinish our deck last week, just in time for this beautiful weather we have been having. So, Ben has been able to spend some time playing outside these past few days on a newly treated, powerwashed, waterproofed and repaired deck. What a good time he has been having! Everyone at church always tells us that he is the best player in the whole class since he is very focused and serious and loves to amuse himself.

As boys do, here he is getting soaked and dirty with his sand and water table.

The silly guy closing his eyes and making a funny face at me when I asked him to smile for the camera (as Barney takes the opportunity to sneak a drink out of the water side of the table!).

Aunt Cinty visited us this afternoon so I opted to keep the cover on his table after lunch so that he wouldn't become drenched and sandy. Here he is playing with his trucks on the roadway cover.

He loves to toddle around with his walker all over the place, the deck included. Here he is bolting from side to side while Barney looks on. Now if only he could get around without the walker...
