Riding Bikes

These Martin boys just love their bikes and could literally stay outside for hours riding them around our big driveway.  It's such good exercise for them and I just love the fall, with the crisp but sunny weather.  They always come back inside all rosy-cheeked and ready for a big mug of hot chocolate!  We're taking advantage of this beautiful fall weather before Old Man Winter hits us in just a few weeks.

Here they are, scooting around on their bikes together while Nana was visiting us this past weekend for Halloween.  

 Ben's a big showoff and loves strutting his stuff on his bike, now that he is so comfortable riding it.  Here, he is doing one of his favorite tricks - standing up while riding.  Good thing for helmets!!

Little Natey basically taught himself to ride a bike.  We worked with him a few times to teach him how to do it but at the time he was too short for the trike.  Then, one day I looked outside and he was zipping around as fast as Benjamin.  After it taking Ben over 4 years to really get comfortable on a bike, we are happy to see Nate scooting around at just 2-1/2!
