Waiting for Dad

Since he was a puppy, Barney has made it his ritual to sit by the front door waiting for Andrew to get home from work. Now, Ben has picked up on this tradition. Usually he leans on the living room sofa and peeks through the curtains when we hear the garage door opening at night, but lately he and Barney have taken to sitting by the window in Ben's room as they await Andrew's arrival. Today we were mid-diaper-change when we heard Andrew pull in so I hurriedly put a diaper on Ben and then let him go to the window. Unfortunately, Andrew said that Ben's a bit too short to really see from the driveway yet!

Since he loves to be semi-naked so much, I let Ben hang out in his diaper as he explored the entire upstairs of our house before bed tonight.

Exploring his bookshelves au natural. Here, he is putting one of many teethers to use as he is definitely teething again since his gums have been hurting all day.

Chasing his toy through the house (and squealing with delight as he follows it closely behind).
