Harvest Time!

What an amazing blessing our garden has been this year! After so much diligent work and TLC from Andrew, we have been reaping crops in abundance and are really enjoying the taste of farm fresh veggies every day. I've been making zucchini and squash every way I know how (if you have any suggestions, leave me a comment!!) and even the kids are enjoying sampling the fresh veggies that they have helped to grow.

We still have many more crops that are partially grown and will be ready for harvest soon. But, for now, we have been loving our zucchini, squash, green beans, sugar snap peas, and cucumbers. Nate and I even set our farm stand this morning and have seen some buyers already. Check out the latest pictures of our crops!

The corn is getting tall and will be ready for harvest in a few weeks. Check it out in comparison to the kids. And get a look at Nate's silly faces. This guy has become such a character these past few months. He's hilarious!

Miss wanted to partake in the photo op even though she had no interest in the corn, just in the grass in front of it! The rest of the crops. We even have some cantoloupes and pumpkins starting to grow. We're hoping to get some good pumpkins by the fall so the kids can pick their own pumpkins in their yard this year!
