Thursday Playdate

My friend Amy and I have a childcare swap set up, where we each watch the other's children who aren't in school for one Thursday each month and then we each get one Thursday without any children.  So, it's a nice break to have one day a month without the kids and it's also nice for the little guys to have the regular playdates set up.

Today, I had her youngest, Brianna, at our house while Amy enjoyed her day of freedom!  Ben and Amy's two older kids are all in school, so we took Brianna home with us at the morning school dropoff at 9AM and then brought her back at the afternoon pickup at 3PM.  The kids enjoy a day of playing, having lunch and napping at the other person's house and they just love it!

Here are some photos of Nate, Abby and Brianna playing this morning.  Brianna and Abby were having a tea party at our little diner kitchen and Nate and I were the chef and waitress.  Take note of the BEAUTIFUL hand-knit dress that Abby is wearing from Auntie Chang.  She makes the kids all sorts of knit clothes and blankets - they are just lovely!  Abby has gotten so many compliments on this dress!  Thanks, Aunt Chang, for being the knitter that Mommy isn't :)
