Our little Nate is two years old! We cannot believe how quickly the time has passed. In some ways, he still seems like he is a baby and in other ways he seems so grown up. But, he will always be our baby and he is growing up before our eyes.
To celebrate his 2nd birthday, he opened his presents in the morning, then we went to church while Ben was in school since I had MOPS that morning and he was able to play with some of his friends, which he always enjoys. That night we had Nate's special request for his birthday dinner - chocolate chip pancakes and ice cream for dessert! Could he have picked a better meal? Being the chatterbox that he is, he told everyone he talked to that day that "chocolate chip pancakes, dinner. Ice cream, dessert. Nate's favorite." LOL!
And what would opening presents on the morning of you birthday be without an older brother to help you out and cheer you on? Enjoy!

By the way, Nate's present he is opening is a giant rocket-shaped tent. He loves anything having to do with rockets, space shuttles, airplanes. Anything that flies.

Of course, Miss Abigail was also there to celebrate her big brother's birthday. She loves Nate already, he is her big, kiss-giving, helper of a brother :)
